Our Mission and Vision
The Rapha Charitable Fund was founded by Rev. Dr. Darryl and LaDawne Jenkins, who deeply understand the weight of ministry demands. With over 28 years of pastoral leadership, they’ve personally experienced the burdensome joy that so often accompanies a life of service. Out of that experience, The Point – Soul Care Retreat was
created—supported by a committed board, generous donors,
and mission-minded partners who believe in the vital importance of caring for the souls of pastors and their spouse, to help reduce stress, isolation, or exhaustion.

The Point exists to provide safe, restorative spaces where clergy and their spouses can rest, reflect, and reconnect with God and one another. These retreats promote spiritual renewal, emotional healing, and healthy rhythms that strengthen both leaders and the congregations they serve.
