Our time at "The Point" was truly memorable, made even more special by the wildlife that welcomed us—Gordy the Groundhog, Ted and Theresa the Wild Turkeys, and a few members of their ten-turkey flock. The setting is breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed connecting with nature. Corlis and I cherished our time together, relaxing in our villa, and I even spent a peaceful Saturday afternoon fishing, which added to the serenity of our stay. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to unwind and recharge in such a beautiful place.

Your generosity, gifted to pastors, made it possible for us to enjoy much needed rest, tranquility

and enjoy the beautiful scenery and quiet time needed. This getaway allowed us to step away

from our daily responsibilities and find rest for our bodies, minds and spirits which is needed for

all clergy but often neglected. During our nature walk I was reminded of Gods beautiful

creation. I even heard the distinct sound of the owl howling which reminded me of God’s

presence. The Goodness of the Lord is amazing and clearly, I could see His handiwork in nature.

Truly, everything we need, He has already provided. I was reminded that God is mindful of me

and cares deeply for His own. 

Even Jesus, took time to get away, pray to the Father and be renewed for the next assignment in

ministry. I am grateful for the thoughtfulness and investment in our lives as pastors, by

sponsoring a 4-day 3-night getaway at the beautiful, peaceful, serene - "The Point." 

May God continue to Bless you richly as you sow into the lives of clergy.
